Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chef Adam Pawlak developed his love of food and cooking at an early age growing up in a large Italian family where meals and hospitality were at the center of everyday life. Over the course of his career, Adam has worked in restaurants across the city spanning classic American, Italian, international, and globally inspired cuisine, ultimately developing a culinary style rooted in elevated Italian cooking with strong French influences.

Through years of hands-on experience, travel, and working his way through nearly every role in the restaurant industry, Adam built the foundation that would eventually lead to the creation of his acclaimed fast-casual pasta concept, Egg & Flour, now operating multiple locations in Milwaukee. In addition to his restaurants, Adam is widely known for his private dining experiences, cooking classes, corporate events, and chef-driven collaborations throughout the region.

Adam’s dynamic personality and culinary talent have made him a standout figure both locally and nationally. He is a five-time Shepherd Express “Best Chef” recipient (2019–2023), a Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, winner of Food Network’s *Superchef Grudge Match*, and champion of *Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out*. He has also appeared on *Hell’s Kitchen Season 19* and Food Network’s *Beat Bobby Flay*, continuing to bring Milwaukee’s culinary scene to audiences nationwide.
