Joe Wray is a Milwaukee-based one-man band who builds a full, layered sound live on stage, looping rhythm, bass, melody, and vocals in real time with nothing but a loop pedal, a mic, and 13+ years of experience. His specialty is reimagining crowd-favorite songs in ways audiences don't expect: a classic rock song over a hip-hop groove, a disco beat under a Top 40 anthem, genres blended the way a good bar builds out a Bloody Mary bar. Catch him on the Fox Meadow Stage for the festival's Sunday Funday hours, Bloody Mary in hand, for a set that keeps the afternoon easy, upbeat, and fun.
